Omega Security Systems is an innovative electronic security systems provider based in Bradford. We are recruiting for a part-time Finance Assistant to join our fast-paced and growing organisation. This role offers career progression for the right individual and could be an evolving role, there is also opportunity to take on more hours within the administration department if you wish. The role includes supporting the finance manager in her monthly reporting, completing balance sheets reconciliations, recording and processing sales and purchase invoices, intercompany invoicing, assisting with the payment process for suppliers, maintaining accurate records, working to strict deadlines and liaising with customers in regards to outstanding invoices and system research and implementation.
At least 2 years’ relevant experience within a similar accounts position
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and exposure to a database
Sage 50 Accounts experience is desirable but not essential
Evidence of further education such as a Degree in Business/Finance or AAT Technician would also be desirable but not essential
Holidays are 21 days plus bank holidays (Pro-rata)
The role is part-time over two days which can be flexibly worked
